You Can Touch This - A NYPhilharmonic Campaign
The New York Philharmonic recently rebranded their logo to a more contemporary mark in an effort to attract a younger audience.
I created a campaign event, 'You Can Touch This', to appeal to a generation that has grown up in 'the digital age'. The event reintroduces classical music to attendees through the physical touch of digital screen set ups, hence the title of the event. An app that mashes personal playlists with the NYPhilharmonic playlist encourages a hybridization of music genres, and digital displays teach users the basics of playing a traditional musical instrument and the different sections of the orchestra.
